RIP

Two years ago today Billy left the planet.
Seems hard to believe that much time has passed already.
It has gone by really fast…and heart breaking slow.
I don’t think of him as “resting in peace”…
I feel he’s off playing cosmic Music of the Spheres…
slidin’ Blues with all his heroes and friends 🙂
Perhaps if we could tune in better with our earthly ears,
we could hear his magic drawl, and new killer licks!
Maybe it’s selfish to want him to still be here
with those of us he left behind.
I guess it was just time for him to go…
he had other things to do.

He is always in my heart.
